Dr. Kottwitz attended Saint Mary's College in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Even though she had a passion for music, she always knew she wanted to be a physician. She earned her medical degree in 2014 from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kottwitz then stayed at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine to complete a six year Integrated Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency. Given her interest in cosmetic and aesthetic breast surgery, she completed a one year fellowship in an Aesthetic Society endorsed Aesthetic Fellowship at CaloAesthetics in Louisville, Kentucky with Dr. M Bradley Calobrace and Dr. Chet Mays. She is board-certified in Plastic Surgery.
She works closely with each patient to design a treatment plan that will provide the changes desired while maintaining a natural look. Dr. Kottwitz is accepting new patients at Deaconess Clinic Medical Office Building 1 on the Deaconess Gateway campus.
